Valve springs

Looking ut upgrading the valve springs as doing everything else. Won't be running much more than a bar boost. Do I need to upgrade these.
If so where do I get them from. Make etc.
How much are they for a full set.

It's for a 2.5.

Mountune supply them, off the top of my head around 350 sheets, at 1 bar you might not need them on a 3 litre but I don't know about the 2.5

James, PM me you email address and I will send you my excel spread sheet which has everything on it (most with part numbers) for an upgraded rebuild

I got mine with ARP bolts/bearing etc from Noble motorsport as they had the lot and it worked out a bit cheaper.

Do not buy ARP rod bolts as the car already has these as std.

Does 2.5 and 3.0 l, both use same valve springs? If so i have a spare set that i acquired from mountune a couple of months ago complete with retainers, still in the wrapper.

i changed my valve springs on a 2.5 but im not convinced that it really needs doing!
