The driving poition is fine for me too. The only contorsions required are getting in and out!
You are quite correct. The comfort of the seats considering lack of padding is great. Mind you I am only 5.11 and weigh 12.5 stone.
Cannot understand why people complain about thr driving position. Have they driven a Saxo?

You'll note from the latest Evo article that the new M400 has addressed press criticism of the seats and the pedal offset. While most people seem comfortable in the 3R's seats, we have fitted more generously padded Sparcos in the M400 and reduced the amount of pedal offset.

I'm starting to understand. Fact is, anyone who's had an elise will think getting in and out is a breeze, and anyone who's had an old 911 won't have a problem with the slight pedal offset either. I've had both.
Everyone raves abour seats and driving position on Porsche 996, but personally I find the sports seats really uncomfortable at shoulder height. Suppose it depends on your body shape.
