Hiens, I think I can speak with accuracy when I say that the M14 will NOT have a rear wing! The body is glass fibre, but the brochure does suggest that it may later become carbon fibre.

I feel that the M400/M12s will always be built in glass fibre.

Others will comment but hope this helps!

M14 has no need for rear wing due to better ground effect.

Asked simon the same question at the show and he said they at that point had not done any wind tunnel testing, but will be after the show or high speed track or road testing. I bought up the problems Audi had with the TT in the first year.

Good point!

Although, given the M12 is perfectly safe without the wing (although as Danny found out, high speed braking is 'interesting') I wonder what the chance will be it'll need a wing?

IMHO it might spoil the rear end.

To clarify, this was braking HARD at 160mph !

We have no plans to fit a wing to the M14. A great deal of research was done into creating an aerodynamic shape (no, it doesn't just look that good by chance!) so we are certain that the M14 will retain the M12's stability, while also being able to reach a far higher maximum speed (190mph).

There are no plans to build the M400 from carbon fibre, but we may offer the option of a CF body for the M14 in future.
