Passenger door problem?

Can't unlock my passenger door!


My battery went flat a while ago, when it did I could unlock the drivers door but not the passenger door. Fair enough I thought, perhaps there isn't enough power to do it.

New battery on, and no problems at all. Both doors unlocking fine.

But now it's not unlcoking again, driver door unlcoks and locks fine.

Any ideas?

This happened to mine the other week. Used the emergency access and opened it. Then shut it and started to lock and unlock again. It's not the first time this has worked for me..

Am I right in thinking the emergency opener is ?????? Does it need taking out first?

It's prob on hear but prob not best puttin on a public forum how you get in to theses cars I don't like leaving it as it is

I don't know, to say the clams can be undone with a phillips, I don't think they're designed with security in mind.

Mine does not lock when left for long periods of time.
I simply open from the inside, remove the door card and free up the
mechanism manually and exercise it for a while, then check it works using the fob.
Works fine after that.....

I had a problem with mine similar thing - the door lock motor had shorted. You can buy the exact replacement from Maplin product code YD79L. It is easy to fit once you have taken the door lining off.
