Sounds pretty special - if it ever gets into a "new" owners hands the service centre, or factory will surely spot it instantly (unless, of course it ends up abroad, eek!)!

Curious as to how he had an 'unregistered' car, whatever that means? Does he mean it has never been registered (VIN i.d. only) or had no plates at the time of the heist?

I think thats the car that was purchased from Universal Salvage, it was HR Owens Demo car andwas crashed on a test drive.

Fingers crossed its not but that would explain the new space frame, wheels etc.

No I don't think so. If I'm correct the owner took delivery end 2003/early 2004. I'll ask him though.

I think that 2.5 bespoke purple one with the beige leather is now the obesmobile !!!
