Why? looking at the pictures, the damage looks superficial, it’s a shame that someone has cut off the exhaust and a few other bits, thrown away the rear clam etc, looks to me like another Noble that has been written off because on an excessively high repair quote. When the reality was something else.
Someone needs to get near it with a tape measure, if it looks as straight as the pictures suggest, it could be a bargain.

The part of the chassis around the engine is very strong, the chances are the wishbone has bent, but the chassis didn't, the rear clip can be fixed as it doesn't do much. as I said It is a shame all the tinsel has disapeared, I know a company that could have fixed that clam, they have done much worse, and you would never know.
Hi Guys, Just to put you all in the picture, I was offered it back as a Cat C. The chassis has bent in two places and the floor could do with replacing, It does look relatively light but does need a fair amount of work. engine is absolutely sweet and only 16k on clock, and yes its a 5 speed.

I am curious, exactly where is the chassis bent? Gaz

Its pushed the wishbone into the car and kinked the chassis inwards.

Its only two lengths of box section to be fair and an easy farication job but all the other bits without labour was approx 5k to replace. Someone will make it a great car again but got to be at the right purchase price and second hand parts used. If the rear clam is repairable its in my garden and available for the new owner! It was removed to stop any further damage and didnt go with the car.

Gaz, I'm obviously missing something here, but why would they offer it to you as a Cat C, but then advertise it as a Cat D (I could possibly understand the other way around though)? I presume you only kept the rear clam and it was the garage who removed the other parts such as the ecu etc?Gaz
Im not sure about the confusion over Cat C/D, I could have been mis informed but was definitely told the engineers report said Cat C. I was told it would go to salvage and i could remove anything i wanted so I removed my personal items and a few more as a little security for my losses from the accident as any replacement Noble i may buy wouldnt necessarily have these items.

Oops, I didn't realise it was you who removed the parts from your car I assumed it was some cheeky rascal stealing them! Didn't you want to keep the car and have it repaired properly? It looks like a nice car.Regards Gaz
