Hello guys, sorry for my English, I learned by reading this forum almost every day!
I hope you can help.

In December I bought my girlfriend a Noble M12 GTO 5.2
Now it's time to change the exhaust and the problem of living in Italy becomes serious: no one here knows how to map a MBE, MBE units do not exist here and no one has experience.
An alternative would be to ship the car to England to map and then back home but only for the transportation cost 2000GBP!
An alternative would be to ask a UK tuner to send me a file mapping (PAYING) of a' similar to my car but to be trusted?
Last alternative is to find the configuration file ".EC2" and map with the help of a tuner in the area, to be able to map a turbo engine 125HP/litre.

I need help or advice, thanks a lot!
(congratulations for the forum and the historical experience that you are building day by day)
Regards Albert.

I am not an expert but I think you should be able to drive to the UK to have it mapped if you do not push it hard. Once here I am told of a very good exhaust that is made in Essex where the car will be mapped, cannot remember the make but others will.

Did you buy the car in Italy? Would imagine you get a great reaction driving it around out there.

In danger of a thread hijack here - I understood the Roush exhaust was now manufactured by Piper? A very similar looking bit of kit is on their website?

The Roush system was always made by Piper but Roush no longer supply so Piper will deal direct, proven system but loud !

Kev, they have an MOQ of 5 systems, I tried to buy some cats off them last month, they said then that it was still 5 pieces, I get the impression that the st will hit the fan when people start to need replacement parts. It does seem correct that Revolve don’t want to know, it may be time to move on to another manufacturer, who is interested and is prepared to support their established customer base.

Adrian, you are correct as to replacement parts, don'd want to discuss on open forum but l do have issues & am looking into an alternative supplier also.

Thank you all for your help, to have such a competent forum is valuable as a reference! especially for me who live 1500 miles from "natural habitat of the Noble!"
I think that just finished installing the muffer (and complete a couple of jobs) will offer a Italian weekend to Mr. yellowshed!!

Alberto, you now have the download link to the full tuning software in your email (107mb), but i do not recommend using it unless the tuner is familiar with the MBE software, even trying to upload a new map can brick the ECU.

I would recommend to see if Mr.Yellowshed has a generic map he can send you, or i think the better option is to post your ECU to Yellowshed and he can upload the Map and then post the ECU back to you.
I have had this service before and the car ran great, although the map will be a little on the safe side for obvious reasons, he will just need a list of upgrades and exact specification on the car. Cost of doing it this way will be in the region of £400.

I assume you are not going to alter the cam timing with the exhaust?
It may be best to speak to Yellowshed and see what spec of car/upgrades he has got generic maps for, then maybe you can twaek your car to suit, i.e upgrade, injectors, fuel pump, valves, or whatever else is required to maximise the potential of the exhaust.

If you are going to change IC etc.. then you need to also carry out these mods before the ECU remap, or you will end up paying twice.

I've driven to italy before in my Noble from the UK... sounds like a perfect excuse for a road trip.

Id not recommend trying to upload the files yourself.. send your ECU to yellowshed.

Who does your exhaust will depend on budget, H&S are close to yellowshed and do a well proven exhaust thats cheap and not overly noisy (is stainless)... seems the best off the shelf item at the moment... there are other bespoke units but they need your car which will of no use to you smile

worth mentioning that I replaced the entire exhaust including cats and didnt remap my car... did 10k with no issues as fueling was still fine.... you can read your ECU safely so you can fit the exhaust and then view if it is still fueling ok.

Hmmmm how can he do that just from the ECU ?
I would suggest a wideband is needed!!!
