guy at the show specced the sparcos for his GTC...so can be done!
Is that becuase the GTC shares the mods that the M400 has had to accomodate the new seats and driving position?
err. no...funny that...I asked that question too. The GTC was ordered through Mole Valley, and they didn't seem to think that there was any problem putting the sparco seats in the GTC. While the GTC does take the six speed gearbox from the M400, there ain't much else that is similar (not even to the GTO3 so it seems...hence my delay to confirmation before testing the thing) and in particular they haven't played about with the width of the transmission tunnel, or the positioning of the pedals.
Joust posted this about the tunnel:

Maybe this is why the seats can be changed ?

The M400 and GTC's tunnel definatly seems to have moved. Also, it seems clear that the M400 seats have a very wide "back shoulder" and a quick bit of "that'll be one arm and 4 fingers wide" type measurements between the M400 and 3R seems to suggest the seat will hit the window of the door if it was retrofitted to the car.
Noble actually hadn't seemed to try it in an old car yet, but also thought that it would have a problem. At a minimum it would need to also have a new frame made up, which coupled with the price of the seats (think expensive, then think more expensive, then think again it seems) means that for the time being it seems to be a no go area, but they did say, like everything, if they get some spare time away from the M14, M400 and GTC production they may take some time to look at it again.
Personally, if current M12 owners want new seats you'd probably be better off taking the car to a seat stockist, taking the seats out, and then putting one by one other seats in and see what fits.....
