Farbound comparison
Discussion
My opinion...
the M14 has twice the presence when standing next to the cars
the Farbound has some very real quality problems
the Farbound has some very nice details but looks like a kit built in sombody's garage, and the M14 looks like a bespoke Grand Tourer
if you think getting in and out of an M12 is tight, then the Farbound is bloody awful (I'm 5'11")
I think a fairer comparison would have been the M400, but that's 15k cheaper so Noble wins hands down
as I say, this is my opinion...see for yourself(you can never tell from photographs). I talked with the guy on the Farbound stand for over half an our, and I have no doubt they will sort out the quality problem, but when they do the car will still look like a kit and be £15k overpriced

I personally think the Farboud kicks the Noble on looks, and I'm interested to see how the engine modifications come about that Arash is contemplating.
So for me, Farboud is better looking than the Noble by a long way.
(although i feel i might be outnumbered in this forum...)

So what did you think about the rear window glue failure, and the dash that came away in my hands?
This was a development car. He's still a very small company in its infancy. I did think the build quality was a bit dubious but then when i found out he's been using it as a testcar it made sense.
Noble obviously have more money to play around with than Farboud, thus Noble can afford to make up a perfect showcar.
Talking to other punters on the Farboud stand they agree.
Oh, and the dash is being changed in the next month or so, to a more bespoke interior after listening to prospective customers...

I sat in the Invica at the motor show 2 years ago - same thing - dash loose, trim loose, etc., etc. and it was £75K then - also went to the Noble stand - the rest is history, as they say!

I was looking at the Vauxhall VXR220 and a piece of Alcantara was soo loose it nearly came away in my hand. Show cars aren't production cars...
Maybe not exactly, but it will be very, very close. All that nice leather, exterior styling and tight shut lines will all be left for production, I can assure you.
As for certain other manufacturers producing shoddy concepts/prototypes because they lack funding, that's rubbish! We work to immensely tight budgets here at the factory, it's just that Lee works harder and longer than other people to make things work. Crappy trim and detailing can't be resolved by throwing cash at them, they need precision, care and planning to execute properly.

Absolutey Simon, you either care about your product or you don't - Noble clearly does!
