RE: M14 Official Pics

I love it. There isn't a single kit-car element in this design, which isn't something I could say about the earlier cars (no idea what they're all called).
This is firmly in GT-territory looks-wise, IMHO. Earlier cars were quirky and unique. This is up with the big marques.
Nice one, Noble. Very different to a TVR, but with TVR's current designs that's no bad thing.

I hate it too. It looks like ....blah... i wont go on.
Lets not forget though that Noble is an engineering firm not a design studio. I mean the M12 isnt exactly a looker but thats beside the point, its a driver's car for pistonheads. I sure Noble won't let us down in that respect with the M14

In fear of repeating myself on another thread, this is just my opinion. Some will love, others will hate, it's the same for everything.
But for the record, I really hate it.
All the supercar elements are there but just not in the right shape, size or proportion. Big scoops, silly lights (is it me or are the front lights kin huge!!). Dare I say it amateurish, a kind of 'this is what I would design if I had a car company' Not as elegant as an Aston, no passion like a Fezza, even the M12 had a purposeful look, I could go on and on and on.
Like I say my opinion, which is, after all, the purpose of forums.

Definitely different from the other cars in the stable. Agree with the Lambo sentiment (although I quite like the back end). Overhangs are huge and the side profile reminds me of an old 512BB.
If the retro DeTomaso/Ferrari styling was carried through the whole shape - it might look more cohesive, but the use of 'new' design cues (slabbed off wheel-arch blisters, separate embedded headlight clusters behind perspex) make it a little awkward in my book.

Just for the record, are there any critics of the styling here who are anywhere near in the market to buy one?
I think this will appeal to people who have been through all the Ferrari's and Porsches and want something different. I reckon that's who Noble are aiming at.
After all, if it's your first £75k car, you're not going to buy a Noble. You need to get the other stuff out of your system first.

P.S. I love it in total. Sure there are some bits that I would personally change, but from the photos (and we all know photos can do strange things to a cars "feel") it's drop dead frigging wonderful.
I think it's a real improvement on the M12 series, but it's still butt ugly. Why oh Why don't great engineering firms just pay a real design company to do a real design. God I even pay Lawyers and Architects. Look at Peugeot, everything they do themselves is ordinary, then look at the ones Pinnafarina do for them (all the way back in history). Real statements and very pretty (and yes I DO like the Ferrari 612).
