Now guys, I love Noble as much as anyone, but am I the only one to not like the look of the GTC with the roof up? It looks great topless but, and this is only my humble opinion, I think it looks like a Noble pick-up. Martin.

Martin,

You are not the only one with this view. I was seriously thinking of trading in my 3R for a GTC until I saw it with the roof on. I'm hoping seeing it in the flesh will swing me again, but I doubt it.

Really love the M14 (100%).. I may have to juggle the finances to work out a way to get one.....don't tell the wife!

Martin - Aren't you tempted by the GTC seeing as you'll have all that Spanish sunshine to enjoy?

Wondering whether an M400 might be a better bet for me now as opposed to the GTC........don't think i could hide the receipt for the M14 from the other half

I think it looks quite good with the roof up. Very "Cabin Foward".

Martin,

I already have the 3R, I'm not really into tracking it so the M400 is not a sensible choice. Love open top driving + the boot space, so was hoping that the GTC would rock my world, but it was not to be. So that leaves the M14 which looks fab and is more practical than my current 3R. I guess I have to ask the question is it worth paying the extra 25K to stay within the marque.

Maybe this vague yet tantalising quote from Simon might sway you ?!!!
I think we may see the M14 on the Top Gear news v. soon .. or maybe the M400 on the track !

I'm with you...seriously wondering what to do...I think elements of the GTC are far superior to the original showcar - front lights, rear integrated spoiler, but not convinced by the intakes behind the seats, and quite honestly very disappointed at the drop of 1 turbo/power/tailpipe etc. (Half the reason I love the GTO so much is the noise of the twin turbos, as well as the power and handling...the GTC has only retained one of these!)

I'm not sure I want the entry model either. Now the M14...that is an enticing prospect...would need some bonus to reach it though.

Seeing things in the flesh may sway things...should be a busy and exciting day tomorrow. M

Morten - maybe you would want to test drive it as well ?

Please try to find out when GTC demonstrators will be available at the 3 sales centres.

Cheers, Ashley

will do. though I suspect we will be in danger of losing our place in line if we hold up the decision till we've actually driven it...maybe the factory can organise a demonstration for us in the show car, as soon as the show is over...just to help us with the decision of course!

I have a suspicion that the show car cannot be driven - maybe you can verify ?

I talked to the chaps at Noble and didn't get a timescale on demonstrators but GTC customer cars are about six months from reality.

From what I know about shows all show cars have to be "fluid dry", and hence I think if it's a "brand new" car like the M14, Tuscan II, TSO etc. that they aren't really driveable straight away from the stand, as I'd imagine as a minimum with the fluid weight missing you have to change things like ride height etc.
