Diagnosis please

When braking hard and dropping from 4th into 3rd a loud noise is coming from the front left wheel. Doesnt sound good and a bit worrying?

Any ideas?

Stone got in somewhere? Had in one my EVO and made a terrible noise.

While cleaning my wheels today I noticed the front left (the wheel the noise comes from) had substantially more brake dust on it than the others.

Mean anything considering my original post.

The other thing Vegantune found on my first service was some of the disc bolts where a bit loose. Might be worth checking that out.

Floating discs. It's not a problem and I've seen it on other cars. Can get sound odd vibrations though...
