Todays Autocar has an advert for next weeks edition with the headline "World exclusive story on a brand new car from Noble"

And on page 47 Steve Sutcliffe mentions the new Noble M14.

Are these the same car and if so whats the story, surely not the M400???

I wonder if Stuart could enlighten us?

I have been away for a few days is this old news?

It would make sense to make the GTC an M14

Wonder why they missed out M13

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to post this message....

All I can say is - make sure that you buy next week's Autocar. It will be worth it I promise. Sorry, Micknall will descend on me within seconds if I say anything more, closely followed by the combined weight of my editorial team. If you've ever met them, you'll know just how uncomfortable that would be.

The GTC is not a brand new car though unless autocar are using their artistic lisence again

If so it'll be a photoshopped elisegallardospace shuttle mix of an artists impression with exclusive "we reveal new look for Noble" headline

Same reason they missed out M11? Sounds too much like a Motorway

Danny, what's that yellow car in your factory visit photo number 4 - looks like an M10 or perhaps the new GTC?!

According to my copy of Autocar, it suggests that Noble may be about to show a bigger more comfortable GT at the British Motorshow.

Correct me if I am wrong but the M400 and GTC are neither bigger or more comfortable!!

It's an M10 I'm afraid. The picture was taken last summer sometime.

My little finger told me that they were developing a smaller car to complete the range from the bottom (the M400 being already a fair way up from the original car in terms of price...). To compete with porsche boxter / elise type of cars.

I always though they shoud've made a 220bhp na version of the M12 for 35k ish - would've sold like hotcakes.

Who knows. We do know that the GTC has been significantly re-designed, and who knows if they haven't added things like boots etc.

Remember all classic GT cars either have as launch, or soon after a convertible version.

One of the prime reasons for me buying a Marcos TS500 is that it has a huge boot, is nice and spacious inside for legroom etc and is a true GT cruiser with the 5l V8 engine.

Given the Rover V8 article (Stuart - your peeps forgot to mention the Marcos in the article as a car that still uses it!!!!) perhaps Noble have gone for a new engine?????

You reckon? I don't think it would be even vaguely fast enough with that power figure. By the time it had aircon and luggage it would be 40k which would leave it having a similar power to weight as an Elise at 10 grand more, whilst also having the artifacts of smaller scale production even vs Lotus.

Still its exciting waiting for the news.

bound to be a 4x4..everybody's doing them now.

Seriously, though, can only think it will be bigger and better than any of the M12s. The smaller car to compete with boxters et al is bound to be labelled an M9 or M8 (why else start on M"10"???)-if they ever get round to building one.

Still, with the GTC, M400 and now the M14 its no wonder Simon is quite quiet at the moment...must be all hands on the bodywork.
