I'm in Galleywood just off the common, Private Rd to be precise, which isnt the best road to be driving any kind of sports car down due to the speed humps, although as long as i'm doing less than 5mph the M12 goes over them fine ! I have friends that live next to the General's Arms in Little Baddow so am out that way fairly regularly, hopefully hook up at some point ?
I think I've mentioned it before, but there are a group of guys i know through property who have a range of cars (dominated by TVR's to be honest but a couple of elise's, M3's etc) who try to meet once a month for a blat around the chelmsford area. We usually meet at Rose's Cafe on London Rd/Three Mile Hill on a sunday morning for a huge fry-up as the owner has agreed to reserve a parking area for us, then off for a drive somewhere. I'll let you know when the next meet is and what time, you are welcome to join us. We are trying to convince the owners of a Gallardo, a caterham and some others to tag along as well.
the only rule of the Sub-6 Club, is that your car must do 0-60 in sub-6 seconds !!

what if we go sub 3black noble - saturday, joining the A1 about 1pm somewhere near newark I think. I was going southbound, they were going northbound.
i was just returning from the north york moors - possibly some of the best roads for a blat, going from Thirsk on A170 towards Sutton Bank and on towards Helmsley, then up onto the moors via Hutton-le-hole. awesome - except for the damn sheep everywhere !!!!!
