Hi
Following on from a thread on the "Car Buying" Forum, I'm tasked with finding a car for our 17 year old son. I've been looking mainly at Fiesta and Volvo C30 but wife has now thrown the i20 and i10 into the mix. (Everything I suggest gets a "why not" or "what's the tax & insurance" as if I'm a human confused.com).

So tell me about the small Hyundai range please. I know her sister has had a few i10 which then get passed down through her kids but the i20 looks a slightly bigger car (son is 6'3" ish and bulky too) and looking at a well known car trading site has cheaper insurance than the i10.

Thanks in advance

i20 is hyundais fiesta sized car, i 10 is ka ( but with 5 doors), both contain parts of kia ( hyundais sister company), basically think of the koraeans as cheap japanese style cars, not a lot will go wrong but the metal is a little thin.

Both are adequate cars, and reliable, but neither are exciting or nice to drive (the age of vehicle in your price range anyway).
