Kia Sportage 2022 discussion, delivery times, questions etc.
Discussion
Hi
Signed all the paperwork today on my Sportage 1.6T GDi HEV GT-Line 5dr Auto FWD. Went for the standard Infra Red, quite like it and couldn’t warrant the extra £14/month for a different colour.
Have been told 10-12 weeks for delivery. Who else is waiting?
Hoping I can get around 40mpg, only getting around 28 on my current car so will be a bit of a saving.

I have a 1.6T GDi HEV GT-Line S 5dr Auto FWD on route - I signed the online finance documents last week and the car is expected mid-May.
I have a BCH on a 3+35 with 8k mileage per annum inc premium metallic (Lunar silver) and full maintenance/service/tyres at £328.22 ex VAT.
That extra "S" in the car title gives a lot more kit, but a bigger bill !

Good to hear, I really wanted the GT-Line S for a couple of features, heated seats, powered tailgate and better dashboard to name a few but couldn’t justify the extra £60/month.
Got mine on 12+35 6k miles @ £208. Might do slightly more than 6k a year but about to send my current car back 8000 miles LESS than I’ve paid for so would rather underestimate and pay the extra at the end.

Spent the weekend over analysing colour options as wasnt keen on the red initially.
Decided it would be fine and tried to place an order for HEV GT-Line and have been told Kia are now suggesting 26 weeks rather than 10-12.
Petrol and Diesel are still 10-12 weeks apparently.
You snooze, you lose I guess.

Ordered a GT Line HEV in standard red at the end of last week - was told today that estimated delivery is May but reading on here it seems unlikely !
Deal is £251 pm and £1510 up front - 8k miles pa.
Would have liked the toys on the S version but was quoted £100 a month more so that was a no no !
Shame that the MHEV comes with 18” alloys rather than the 19’s that the other versions get.

All UK videos seem to be for the GT Line S so thought this Irish video would be of use, standard Infra Red with, from what I can work out, the GT Line dashboard (visible from 1m 20s)
Here's another non-UK video that gives a good view of the dash while driving at night
The red actually looks quite good. Here's another non-UK video that gives a good view of the dash while driving at night
I don't think that is the GT Line dashboard as it looks like the curved one in the 3, 4 and S.
