i20 2017 throttle flat spot

Hi folks wife has recently bought a Hyundai i20 1.2 but it seems to have a flat spot in the throttle when you pull away initially? The car at worst lurches forward and can be quite difficult to drive in traffic. Car has done under 20,000 miles thanks

Used to have the same thing with my 2015 i20 1.2. I did get a replacement clutch under warranty (which apparently included an upgraded release bearing), this improved things but it was still a gutless engine at low revs, makes it very hard to drive smoothly at low speeds. Probably the reason why the previous owner killed the clutch in 30k miles.
