Hi folks

Early this year, we bought the good lady wife an Ioniq Hybrid, ex rental fleet. It's an 18 plated car. It has two services in the book, one at 10,038 (Europcar) and one at 18,620 in January this year, which was done by the supplying garage before we purchased.

My local dealer isn't picking up the phone this morning, presumably they are short staffed or orgnaising the new lockdown etc. I want to book in advance fo rJAnuary as i imagine this lockdown might roll on for a while and i don't want to miss the schedule date. The Hyundai website isn't really particularly helpful and the "book a service" option brings up automatically the second year service and not the 3rd, so i can't book it in for the wrong one (it's also coming up at £300, despite the website stating much cheaper servicing).

So, does anyone know:-

  • Items covered at the 2 year service
  • Items covered at the 3 year service (are they different basically)
  • Ball park expectations for servicing costs
  • As this is my first experience of a hybrid, anything in the servicing i should look out for if i choose to opt for my trusted local VAT registered indy instead of the dealership?
Thanks in advance for the help
