Hi
I am off to look at a 2010 Hyundai IX35 2.0 CRDI
Has anyone had any experience with these? Are they any good, my drive to work is 38 miles each way, in a Volvo v50 at the mo, and I am getting 49 mpg
The other option is a golf same year, but higher mileage and less stuff
Thanks in advance
Chris

My daughter has had an ix35 from nearly new in 2013. It’s done about 70,000 miles now and has been pretty much faultless. An issue with a random false TPMS warning, fixed during service and a new a/c condenser, stone damaged, a month or two ago. Other than that, tyres and a service every year.I am off to look at a 2010 Hyundai IX35 2.0 CRDI

To drive? The interior is a little plasticky but has worn well. It has an old fashioned handbrake, most other cars I drive have EPBs, and the diesel is a bit clattery at low revs, speed. Once cruising it’s fine, and good on fuel.
She’s looking to replace it in the coming months and would be quite happy with another. She’s also thinking of the Sportage, same thing but with a different interior and longer warranty.
