Kia Auto

Anyone drive a Kia or Hyundai with the 7 speed DCT ? If so how do you find it to drive particularly when it comes to low speed manouvering and in stop start traffic ? Is it as smooth as a TC auto ?

I looked down and there it was! Boom boom.

We have an Ioniq with the six speed and that is very smooth and seamless.

They are a very smooth box, good at low speeds and feel much like a conventional auto. The upshift quickly and generally feel responsive. My only issue is that they tend to hesitate from a standing start when in a hurry. This can be helped by using sport mode but it is always there.
