Kia rio water leak

Hi, not sure where to put this, feel free to move it

My girlfriends mums Kia Rio seems to have quite a substantial water leak into the boot, so much so that the spare wheel well is actually ending up about three quarters of an inch underwater. I have checked the seal around the boot but cant see anything, has anyone else had this problem?

Ive tried a google search but cant really find anything, if it helps the car is an 04 plate.

I have a 2002 estate. The rear wheel well leak turned out to be the rear quarter panel windows leaking down behind the trim into the wheel well.
It’s a banger so I just silicones up from outside around the window.
Problem solved
