What spec is it? Initial impressions? What has it replaced?
1.6 GDi HEV GT-LineReplacing a Volvo V60. It’s pretty good, missing (or will miss) a few features I did have such as heated seats, powered tailgate etc. will also take a while to get used to the rotary gear selector. Not found a good seat position yet and they are nowhere as comfortable as the Volvo, not wide enough for me.
Dash is very good, even with the main dash not being a full screen it is very seamlessly done. Apple car play will be useful, never had that before.
Going to save a fortune in fuel too, old car was around 28mpg, after 50 miles this is at 48mpg.

Interesting choice of car to swap from, how do you find the Kia from a road noise and general ride comfort perspective?
Pretty awful if I’m honest (compared to what I am used to) much louder than the Volvo on the motorway, struggling to have a conversation with rear passengers. Seats are very uncomfortable, not wide enough for me (I am 17st though!!!) and the suede material in the centre of the Gt-line seats makes you sweat!Fuel consumption on a work commute is a huge improvement, getting around 46mpg whereas used to get about 28 in the Volvo. Not a huge difference on the motorway, get about 39mpg.
Still loads of little niggles/annoyances that I haven’t got used to yet but I’m sure I will, only done 350 miles in it so far.
Thanks for the feedback
I can’t wait to get rid of mine (but I’ve still got it for 28 months )
Customer service from KIA has been awful (brand new car delivered with nearly 700 miles on the clock)
Seats are not comfy for me (I am a big guy)
Sat nav is awful
App to send sat nav destinations to the car only works half the time (I use this a lot)
I miss features I previously had, my fault, should have paid the extra for the GT Line S
Had a problem with the active air dampers over the cold weather
I find the main car controls screen toggle between media and climate annoying, I want one knob to do temperature and one to do volume without having to constantly change screens which can be tricky while driving on bumpy B roads.
Anyone else having issues with front parking sensors randomly going off all the time? Never had it happen on a car before.
Also keep trying to change between drive and reverse (or vice Versa) while parking without my foot on the brake (previous cars allow this) and have almost crashed a few times as I was not in the gear expected.
