Arnold Clark leasing - tyres
Discussion
Hi all, i've got a lease going back in a couple of months and I need a new tyre.
I've looked through my paperwork and there is no mention of what brand the tyres have to be - just that they have to meet the manufacturers spec and be a minimum of 1.6mm tread left.
I was going to get a budget tyre with the same size and rating as what is on the car at the moment.
Has anybody on here dealt with AC leasing regarding returning a lease and replacing tyres?
Cheers

All the info you need will be in the documentation you were given.
I've been through it.No mention of tyres. Just refers me to the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear guide which states tyres must be a minimum of 1.6mm tread.
I've seen a part worn same tyre on Ebay for £50.
I've also rang AC Leasing and spoke to someone who basically didnt know, just said like for like. I asked if had to be the same brand...but again clueless

Go for the eBay one.

Waiting for the thread in a couple of months by the person looking to buy a 3 year old car and complaining the main dealer is selling it with mismatched/budget tyres.
Chris
It is very often the difference buying a company ex lease vs a personal ex lease. One has gone with budgets and one hasn't been spending their own money so most often it's like for like. Chris
