I am in a pickle and curious what others would do in the same situation.
I have 2 gr yaris's (circuit) in pearl white to pick from, one I have test driven and seen, one is over 6 hours away but lower miles and i have not seen in person.

1st Yaris gr £540pm
Not test driven, sold by a prestige garage (lambos etc)which I placed deposit before they had the vehicle delivered.
3k miles
2 owners
Over 6 hours away, I need to arrange my own delivery
Has visible mounting holes on the front bumper where it has had a trd splitter , I would be getting a trd splitter to cover.
Has also has side skirts added and removed.

2nd yaris gr £530pm
10k miles
1 owner
As you would expect, nothing worrying
Will deliver to my door

3k miles one

I really wanted the 3k miles one until I saw the bumper, and whilst I do modify and it will be covered by a new splitter, I am not sure it is a good idea where I can't view it, place of course at it is perfect.
I do 3k miles a year so when I sell it will hardly touch 15k miles.
Other one when I sell well be about 21k

Just to make it a bit worse, I need to decide whether to ask for my deposit back this morning as expecting a call back for my decision.

It might be a moot point because I will modify it, but I certainly wouldn't drill a hole in the bumper, I would use tape on those bits if it was me fitting.

I’d buy the one you have seen. Irrespective of the mileage, you’ve been able to inspect it and that’s worth more than the extra miles in my view.

10k miles is next to nothing so I too would go with the one you've seen.

Odd that someone would destructively add kit to a car and only keep it for 3k miles. Also even odder that a 'prestige' dealer won't deliver the car.

10k miles, 1 owner, you've driven it and it hasn't had tatt added to it...

Pick that one.

They possibly want want to deliver as this would open them up to distance sales regs giving you 2(?) Weeks return it.
I'd go with the local car

1 owner car and higher miles given your low usage. Plus, it doesn’t have holes in it!

They’re great cars! I picked one up two weeks ago and love it.

I'd go for the 1 owner one, even if you are modifying it, there is no guarantee that you wont find lots of other bits that have been bodged back together after.

Many voices of reason here!
Does open up the what else was added and removed question for me.
2nd owner bought it directly from toyota with the holes/bungs and it never bothered him, apparently a regular millionaire client of theirs who owns a full collection of exotics.. I found it hard to believe it would not bother a petrol head
Never knew about the 2 weeks delivery legislation! Thank you very good to know

Buy a high mileage one for less and your low mileage will even things out.

£6k a year to do 3k is bonkers IMO. At 50mph average that's £100 an hour!

There is this. Price per mile is silly.

Haha my yearly miles is because I also have an s2000 for the summer. I work from home full time, neither car is for commuting, both are purely for enjoyment.
I had a stage 2 s5 until 3 weeks ago which I had 7 years.
Want to try lots of cars for a little while which is why I am not cash purchasing for the first time.
FYI yaris gr, never smiled so much driving a little nugget

Love the cost breakdown though!

If you can afford it, and want to do it, go for it. We only live once, so enjoy it!

2 owners in 3k miles?

I'd go with the 10k car, on the basis you can see it first.

Also - 3k miles at £540/ month must be costing about £100 each time you drive it!
(I know, it won't depreciate much.)

Edited - beaten to it by Bill.

If I had a pound for every time I've heard that dealer client bs...

And as the other poster said about 'not bothering him' - sfw?!!!

Good luck. Post up some pics when you get it.

Sun is shining this morning. I think I will drag mine out of its lair.
