Evening all,

I'm considering a used Jag Ipace (2021 model, circa. £25k and 30k ish miles). It'll be a company car for low BIK tax for my wife.

Probably buying used and adding a Jaguar warranty afterwards.

Am I missing anything with these? They seem good value and quite desirable despite the spotty reliability records.

Will Jag dealers be about to repair it for the next 3 years?

I expect someone with a bit more knowledge on the the warranties than me will be along but from my experience if you buy a car still under manufacturers warranty it’s cheaper and easier to extend it.

I would go 22 on and buy Extended Jag warranty with assist (around £750 / year).
A great car. Love ours (22) and trouble free. But don’t run out of warranty. As for dealers: JLR are moving to electric and service should get better - assuming the move works…

You're correct but the approved used cars are circa 10% more expensive (so around £2/2.5k) and the Jaguar annual warranty can be purchased for £800.

My main concern is will dealers till exist in 12/24 months with Jaguar running out of vehicles to sell later this year
... unless I'm misunderstanding the news reports?

Thanks for the feedback... any reason why you recommend 22 on?

The 21 cars are the updated model with pivi pro etc. and from my experiance seem better soec'd in general due to COVID parts supply issues. (Most 22 cars seem to be missing heads-up for example).
