Hey,

Looking at a used 128ti under 15k miles, there seems to be a lot on motorpoint which I assume is a batch of old lease deals. Majority still have bmw warranty on them.

Anyone purchased a 1 series from them and had a good experience?

Also, I watched a review on the 128 and the reviewer said the ride is better on the 18inch alloys rather than the 19's?

Is it prudent to wait until January if the prices come down?

Thanks in advance to any replies.

I bought my 218i GranCoupe from Motorpoint in July. 5,000 miles, £24,299. No issues really bar a small dent. They're ex Thrifty rental but usually for longer term business rental customers rather than joyriding idiots.

Mine is on 19s and rides well - the 1.5 never feels underpowered either, and sounds alright too. The only thing I had to do was contact BMW to remove the fleet vehicle marker so I could use the remote features.

I assume the reg numbers begin with the letter Y as there are hundred of these being defleeted from a pre contract rental business. Notii hi ong wrong with them and as you have already pointed out they have BMW warranty.
