Hi all
My Dad has the V6 Diesel XF and it's a great car.
I'm thinking of picking up one of the early XFs (2010 ISH) but due to my milage I'd be looking at the petrol.
Likely the 3.0 V6.
Does anyone have any experience with them?
I have this idea of them being unreliable for some reason. Old mans Jag has needed a bit of work but it is on 180k+ miles and now runs fine.
Seem to be a lot of car for the money with a 2010 plate on 60k or so mikes typically being about £4k.
Cheers

They're a good car but I'd also look at the 4.2 N/A as it's only slightly worse on fuel. It's also a more relaxed drive as you work the drivetrain less.

The petrol engines are pretty bulletproof.
Electrics are the weak point, make sure everything works with no messages on the dash.
Portfolio is the trim level to go for the Bowers & Wilkins sound system is excellent, and if you can get one in S trim with the 18way heated and cooled seats , so much the better
Parts from Jag can be expensive and some are now getting hard to get.
