Advice needed please -
I need a new car,so I am looking at purchasing a used car, but spending more money than I have in a long time on a car.
Around £8000
I'm just not sure where to even start.
I have some things in mind that I need,so looking for recommendations or warnings of cars to stay away from.
These are the things that that I would need in a car -
More than likely an SUV
Large boot space - (camping with the children)
Possibly Diesel as I do cover a lot of miles over the year
Cheap road tax
On the cheaper Insurance end
Not extortionate repair costs when things need repairing
Please can I have honest advice ...
Many thanks 😁

Don’t start with a budget start out with what you need or want and take it from there. Obvs you have a max budget of £8 but don’t spend it just because you have it or you think it buys you a more reliable car the more you spend as it doesn’t.

What do you really want, not I’ve got £8k to spend.
