Car required to leave at apartment in Spain, reccomendation?

Hi guys,
I’ve spent the last few months looking for a lhd drive car to take out and nothing priced correctly has taken my fancy.

Requirements are diesel, reliable and small for ease of parking.

I’ll probably purchase something when I’m out there in a months time.

This.

It looks to be similar to Italy in that you have to put it on local plates after 6 months. We’ve just done that on a Discovery 2 and the agency was pedantic to say the least needing all documents V5, certificate of conformity etc translated into Italian. They even checked the tyre size was as homologated so we had to buy another set of tyres - 265/60x18 and should have been 255/55x18. It wasn’t a cheap exercise either.

My mate bought/left a Smart car out there when he bought his place in Spain. The older ones were LHD and diesel.
