Car for mum - medium sized hatch / SUV - Infiniti Q30?

Evening all,
My mum has asked me to suggest a new to her car.
Currently has a newish Qashqai E Power which will be going back and looking for something a bit smaller externally.
Criteria are petrol as will not be doing big mileage (but will have some longer motorway journeys), auto, reasonable spec, not to low height wise, and as new and low mileage as possible as she intends to run it until she stops driving. Reasonable space for a largeish dog also needed.
Max budget around 13k.
Previously had an infinity Q30 from new which she liked.
Seems for the money you can pick up a nicely specced run out model Q30 or Q30s with lowish miles. Anything else to consider?
