Selling a car

I recently tried to sell a car on Pistonheads but was frustrated and angered at how many non-genuine replies I had which suggested to me that they were scammers posing as buyers. The replies came in almost instantly and most of them wanted asked me to pay for and to a search for the car I was selling on sites like these:

I doubt if Pistonheads could get a handle on this but is a heads up to anyone else trying to sell a car on here.

This is normal on all the sites now, it's not a pistonheads thing specifically. Just file it away with the other hundred scams you are subjected to when trying to buy or sell a car privately.
