So rather than get into the stupidity of the decision, depreciation etc, its via a salary sacrifice and I would rather get the tax back than give it away.

However, the car was order pre "face lift" with a variety of rather nice options that appear no longer available or are very much a cost aoption.

Same car, same spec is now nearly 10k more. The question I know the answer too but shall ask anyways.

Will I get the car I ordered in 8 months, or a newer one with a crap stereo and stty wheels?

I have asked the provider but just curious if anyone has experienced this. Might be a deal breaker ( rather than all the other intercrap re i4's)

Could be either, depends on if they are still working through the last of the orders for non-facelift cars or if they are allocating all current orders to the new style.

Only your provider can tell you for sure.

8 months is quite a long order to delivery period for a BMW, as a factory order you'll have been given a slot and your provider will know whether that was pre or post LCI and that should have been notified at the point of order.

The LCI models mostly come with more spec and improvements it's very rare for the LCI to get less spec when viewed in the round although some items might be removed and others added.
