Family Car Budget £5K or £10K

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker and some amazing advice on here.

Getting rid of work car so need a family car within the next 4 weeks. Budget is £10K if it needs to be or £5K if it can be. Things we really want are:

-Good amount of space for a growing family. 3 at the moment but 4 soon enough.
-OH really wants higher ride height as she is used to a van and loves it. Hates my old low down Mazda 2.
-Comfortable for long journeys
-Diesel
-Ulez ideally
-Not crazy expensive to maintain/ repair
-Cruise control
-Auto would be nice but not essential

Any advice would be much appreciated cheers all

On the QX70 that you posted, would you worry about the mileage discrepancy? Looks like mileage dropped in 2021 and also it hasn't been taxed since.
