Reliable V8 GT (such a thing?)
Discussion
I am after a up to 4 year old 2 door Coupe GT automatic to replace my DB7 v12 and my 928s v8 both of which were reliable old hectors.I am missing the power and comfort both gave me and i want to compile a list of possible replacements.
I have up to £50k maximum to spend but less would be nice and i do have a pot ready for maintenance/servicing etc and i am no stranger these high costs but reliability is key as i want to open the garage, jump in, start up and drive away without calling the AA to assist.
It will be a weekend use car only so doesn't need to be practical as we have other cars and i do not want a convertible or another Aston.
Ford Mustang and Bmw 850 so far on my list..
Any advice appreciated

Wow that is one ugly car and the interior is hideous and not my cuppa at all but thanks for the suggestion, i had done the usual thing of putting all the "i wants" into Autotrader to see what pops up but that doesn't give me real world advice.
I would much prefer owners/drivers experience when possible.
You're clearly insane!I would much prefer owners/drivers experience when possible.

£50k will get you into an LC500.
There are 3 V8 ones on Autotrader at the moment sub £50k.
You are insane if you consider anything else where reliability is a key factor for you.
/Thread.
EDIT: Just twigged the 4 year thing... but even so...

I've got a modified 6spd Mustang that's been bulletproof since new in 2016. It's now starting year 9 of ownership and the only repair under warranty was a glitchy driver's window. My local Ford dealership is great so servicing is reasonable and very convenient.
If you're not concerned with 6pd versus an auto, than an LC500 is also amazing IMO.

If you can live with 4/5 years old then the S560 Coupe is the pick especially over the 8 series:

From a monetary view the 850i is hard to beat due to it's depreciation & it'll carry on for a while yet:

The Maserati Granturismo really ticks the boxes but it'll be 5 years old:

Higher miles but well under budget:

If you're considering a Mustang the Mach1 is the pick:

Guy down our road suddenly turned up with a Granturismo last year.
It replaced a Mondeo Estate!
It sounds and looks epic!
Even my wife asked how much they were (which means she likes it)
The 850 has presence and it will be more reliable and faster but IMO it gets beaten on looks and sound by the Granturismo.

Add me to the list of people who likes the LC styling.
It is what I would be buying with 50-large to spend. (or maybe an RCF for 30k)
When the word 'reliable' is used in the thread title you be daft to go elsewhere.
Not just the outside either, the interior is superb. Properly special for the price. It is what I would be buying with 50-large to spend. (or maybe an RCF for 30k)

Is there a specific reason for the four year old criteria?
If you broadened your age criteria you could find plenty of lower mileage offerings. I’m aware you buy on condition not mileage or age but I wonder if you are limiting yourself somewhat.
