Dealers smart repair

Just read James,s post so thought I would post my latest dealer experience. I bought this for my wife last week and it's a nice car with a small dent under the rear left light. The dealer says it will be done and be like new! The car is five hours from me at a large dealer in Guilford( FG) so I get it Transported down to me with a great company by the way. Looks a different colour to my eyes. The car is grey and the paint there looks silver. Depends how good the price of the car was I suppose. If you've paid a price assuming it's perfect cosmetically then that isn't really good enough.

Oh dear.

Reminds me of the time I was asked to go down and have a look at a car that had arrived damaged and I’d persuaded company fleet to take it after it was repaired at port.

Somehow they’d repainted the left hand side in a shade of grey several shades lighter than the original paint!

Looks a very similar shade of grey to Renault's Oyster Grey, it has always been a bd to get right with a smart repair.

I,m getting my guy to do it this Wednesday hopefully it will be a hell of a lot better.

inter, I sent the young manager the photos last week still no reply very ignorant, I asked for a contribution only. Will send an email tomorrow I just want them to acknowledge its a bad paint match and not say it's a good job ffs!
