Looking for a little run about, something relatively cheap to run and practical enough to carry a bike. Probably up to 10-15 years old and under 50k miles.
Anyone got suggestions for fun used cars that don't seem overpriced?
Ideally under 10k but I could stretch a bit if worth it

You will struggle to get a 15 year old car with 50k miles.
Anything fun at that age with the low milage will command premium.
Up the milage and you’ll get a lot more for your money.

Whats the budget?

Yeah I’m willing for higher mileage if it’s going to be reliable and something I can run for quite a few years without worry. Ideally £10k but I’ll stretch a bit if needed

Sounds like the ideal opportunity to get a Suzuki Swift Sport. £10k should get you a pretty decent one.

Fiesta ST is the obvious answer. Unless you can’t get roof bars for them.

Someone had a Readers Cars on one of these a while back, seemed to like it and it fits the 'hot-ish' brief I guess, plus still practical etc:

Just an example.

You want an Up GTi - albeit warm-ish.

Owned mine for 5 years and now on 55k and all it's ever had it oil change services. Still on original disks and pads.
Cost pennies to run, great fun, incredibly reliable and can also fit a bike if you need it:

Think id go GTC VXR if you want to get the bike in it rather than on it.

Not sure if this counts as warmish, but the SEAT Leon with the 1.8 can be had for this sort money
