10k petrol commuter
Discussion
Morning PH,
I am looking to purchase a new car shortly and have the following criteria. I need the car to be fairly smart for work purposes, and will do around 10k miles per years Mway/DC/Lanes, ISOFIX for the kids pick ups.
At present we have a DS3 1.6VTI which has performed excellently over the last 10yrs in terms of reliability as a second car, but a new job and kids means it’s times to go as it’s not practical.
Criteria for the new car would be:
- Reliable (the odd £400 bill every couple of years is no biggie, generally scared of turbos going pop so i'm happy to be reassubred here and opt for a petrol turbo as a turn of speed would be nice!)
- Around £10k
- Petrol
- Minimum of 120BHP, with no maximum (cos PH)
- Up to 50-60k miles as we like to keep our cars for as long as possible.
- 5 Door
- Isofix
- From around 2017 onwards if possible.
- Car play.
Dull cars welcomed but if your suggestion has a bit of flare to it that would brighten my commute and rekindle my car passion... no stipulation on body types.
