I’ve had a TF and 2x916 GTVs.

TF feels lighter and more agile, RWD and cheaper to fix.

916 looks better, interior better and noise and power are great in the V6.

Depends what you want from it really?

Two litre twin cam 916 for me, light, agile, so differently pretty, cracking engine, much prefer the twink to the busso engined cars, that engine totally changes the character of the car.

It's the JTS though which is a load of rubbish by all accounts.

I've been driven in an MG but never driven one. If you can get it cheap enough I'm sure they're a laugh.

Having owned 2 GTV's one a spider TS as long as you go in knowing that you're probably going to get a few largeish bills along the way that's the one I'd get. A cambelt alone if done properly is over 500 quid.

The JTS engine is renowned as being trouble though. I don't know a single Alfa specialist that likes them.

Surely a MG TF is much cheaper?
