I’ve had the new kuga for the last 2 weeks whilst wife’s car is being repaired , she has my focus , I really like the driving position of it , feels nice & high up ( as I drive lorry’s for a living I much prefer high up ) , I’ve never felt comfortable in the focus , to low .
The new one is to good , expensive for the miles i would put on it , I think it’s a 1.5 ecoboost which seems to make my 1.0 focus seem the height of fuel efficiency, so has anyone any experience of the previous kuga , 1.5 diesel / 2.0 diesel , what the best spec , new kuga is st- line , heated seats / steering wheel / panoramic roof etc , I’d like those things ( would be 16/17 plate . Thanks

I had an ST-Line 17 plate diesel Kuga as a hire car following an accident at the end of February- it rode absolutely horribly and the seats were the hardest out of every car I've owned. I imagine you'd be fine with any other trim level/spec.
The one we had was a st line , but seats seemed ok & I use back roads ( some like tracks ) & it seemed fine ,maybe new one is better , will try the previous version , thanks Gastons_Revenge said:

My Mk3 has recently gone back to lease company and was a great car (2.0 diesel AWD 190bhp ST Line X). Really good spec and could easily do 50+ mpg, 55 if you tried. Was comfortable and refined.
Been a member of the Kuga Mk3 FB group and reading posts form those that jumped from earlier models, they aint a patch on the Mk3.
