I’ve seen £4k upfront and £655 a month back in Jan.

Don’t know if that still ongoing.

£6k upfront and £600 a month done the rounds as well.

How do either of those responses answer the op’s question in any way?

Well because it’s a discounted PCP quote for a BMW M2 confused

For example he’d save £5k vs this deal if he can get someone to match this discount out there
https://www.stratstone.com/search/details/offer/ne...

Or save vs this one
https://www.dicklovett.co.uk/bmw/finance-deals/m-s...

It gives the poster another option to compare financially to see what way gets him the car cheapest confused

Quoting just upfront and monthly payments doesn’t enable you to compare the financial cost of a PCP.

I'm not sure paying £74k for an M2 counts as a discount... neither of those include any discount which was the question asked.

I’d look at that PCP quotes I’ve posted and say the cheapest PCP deal I’ve seen for me to own this car for 4 years is £35k. So surely any calculated cost of ownership needs to be less than that. confused

Ultimately it doesn’t matter where the discount comes from be it dealer contribution, off list price, 0% APR or summer sale. Total cost for a fixed period is all that matters.

Simply just trying to help the OP out with options confused

Agreed hence my original post (3rd post) that says I’ve seen PCPs that would save the OP £5k

You didn’t mention the term of the PCP in your post.

You didn’t mention the GFV of the PCPs which will determine the equity left in the M2 after the end of the PCP, and which obviously impacts the cost of the PCP.

Just go on Autotrader and set the age parameter to "Brand New" - more than 60 for sale and on first glance saw a couple in Cardiff with £9k off, before any haggling!

Mate I’m trying to help the OP out with some actual figures I’ve seen floating about,

You’re just trashing/trolling this thread for some bizarre reason banghead

Thanks for all the replies.

I’ve been told 11% is doable.

Going in tomorrow.
