Just thought some may find the info relevant or helpful, apologies if not, but I've been told by Tuskers that on my salary sacrifice option through work that they will not be allowing orders of the IONIQ 5 N as it is being put through as retail only option. Not sure how accurate this is (I've never tried to lease a vehicle or use salary sacrifice schemes before, so is this a known thing to happen with other vehicles?), but it's certainly disappeared from my choice list of vehicles/the website and they said that if I tried to complete my original quote, then the order would be cancelled as a result and they seem very clear that it's extremely unlikely to just appear again.

Dunno if that's just a Tusker thing, or a wider thing that's going to start being updated elsewhere, but at the moment I'm just moping about like someone's piddled on my chips as a result lol.

Just thought I'd mention it as it might be worth checking with other similar leasing groups if you have your eye on it just in case and reading another thread, this seemed like a popular option to obtain the vehicle. Anyway, thought it might be helpful to let people know.

Edit - Realised I've written Ionic and not Ioniq in the title! getmecoat

Oh wow, that's quite a bit more than was showing for me! Tusker had it for £749, which is admittedly still a lot obviously, but also far cheaper than any other leasing option I've seen, especially as it covers insurance, servicing, tyres (could probably reclaim half the monthly cost alone in tyres lol) etc.

Glad to see that some people might still have the option though!

Yeah Zenith is really poor in all honestly.

My wife is NHS fleet and their offers would be way better.

If I had that Tusker deal I’d order one tomorrow.

If these people are earning less than around 140k then this 'saving' they're talking about is nonsense. Of course it's worth sacrificing salary to save on the tax, doing that via an EV lease scheme is worth it if you're going to be spending on a vehicle of that rough cost anyway but for most people they'd be far better off sacrificing straight in to their pension for full tax relief and to benefit from years of compounding.
It's unfortunate but the net deductions might be less than what you'd end up paying normally but the gross costs a lot of the salary sacrifice providers are charging is absolutely insane - Even after accounting for insurance and maintenance.

I certainly don’t think you need to be on anywhere near £140k+ to come out ahead on these lease schemes.

I always advise people to run the numbers as ultimately maths doesn’t lie.

The company I work for have signed up to Tusker but it isn’t live until the 1st August. I was wondering if anyone who access to Tusker could give me an idea on the cost for the Kia EV6 GT and the Hyundai Ionic 5 N?
