Pretend to send you money, too much, then ask for it back, you send it back, you get left with no money.

Normally something around those lines.

Is it they request to make the payment via Paypal friends & family & they charge back so have car & money or a fake screen print showing they've sent the money? I'm sure it's been covered on here before.

anyone who says "Kindly" is a scammer.

Tell them where to "kindly" go.

Why even bother with Facebook. It's a cesspit of fraudsters. Just give him a fake paypal email and see what happens. Bet you he sends a screenshot saying there was a problem and needs more information.

PayPal biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Funded by compromised bank/PayPal accounts or stolen debit/credit card details. They make payment, then 2-3 days later the banks realise and hit PayPal who try and claw back the money from you. Result you have no money and no car.

Thanks all. Blocked and reported. I was more curious as to how the scam might work.

Sounds stupid but sometimes the name gives it away.
