Always loved the S63 Coupe and on the list, didn’t realise how much value 850s have become. Similar performance but newer platform with 4wd also.

Views appreciated.

Seems to be more practical as well, it just seems a class above the 850.

S Coupe everyday of the week better looks, sweeter drivetrain & all the windows drop away which makes it feel more special a proper pillar less GT

Not meant in a challenging way, have you driven both?

Yes I have as well as the M8, they're both very big but the S coupe feels more serene composed & a better overall GT.

The pillarless thing makes a big difference to how you feel in the cars with the S feeling more spacious, the 850 feels more lively in throttle response but the ride isn't as good & for me I really don't like the looks.

If I was the OP & he's considering the 850 I'd also be looking at the S560 coupe (for the record I just put my dad in one of these as a change up from his 5,5 CL63, after a remap he's very happy with it) as it'll have all the power he needs but will also be a newer car.
