In a muddle…..

7-10k Budget.

I have 3 cars grabbing my attention however I’ve never experienced owning any of these.

Closest I came was owning a 170 a3 a line few years back.

Anyway I am torn between these diesels below.

2010-2013 Q5 3.0 Quattro
( there are some within my budget, not many but a few)

2.0 Q5

Xc60 d5

Does anyone have any sensible guidance on any of the above motors please

Thankyou

I’ve had an xc60 d5 for 6 years and it’s been bullet proof and kid proof. Not the softest of rides but it’s been a good family car. Very good in the snow.

Volvo all day. Audis are just bland.

We have a 14 reg XC60 D5 R Design, the 2.4 D5 is bullet proof, just remember to get the gearbox serviced as it isn't sealed for life, unlike Volvo think!

A much better option than a Q5.

Our one negative comment is that the turning circle on it is awful!

Our other car is a 2011 A6 Avant S-Line with the 2.0TDi 170bhp engine, no problem with the engine or torque with it.

We've a '67 reg D5, one of the last of that shape. Agree 100% re turning circle!

What's the gearbox service interval - our local indy hasn't mentioned anything yet.
