You can no longer use the AT Price Checker plug-in on Auto Trader
Sorry, we know that you find it handy, however we no longer allow this tool on the site.
This is because AT Price Checker puts other company’s adverts and promotional information onto our pages, which we have no way of checking or endorsing.
To continue using Auto Trader, you’ll need to remove or disable the plug-in.

Reckon the Dealers got pissed of with it and complained? Surely not! Sorry, we know that you find it handy, however we no longer allow this tool on the site.

If you think auto trader listens to dealers - you'd be wrong
Many of us have been trying to organize a competitor for years as they just keep increasing their prices
The price markers are the most hated - particularly as they don't take into account colour, spec, etc
Isn't that the case for the same valuation tools dealers use to offer PX values to customers e.g. WBAC values, CAP valuations etc? Many of us have been trying to organize a competitor for years as they just keep increasing their prices

Price markers also only work for cars under £70k, so for cars above that threshold, there's been no way for the average punter to get a clearer picture of the state of the market
I have no idea what other Dealers use to value vehicles - personally I look on AT / ebay etc
I used AT in preference to CAP / Glasses even when it was a paper - I'd keep old ones to refer to - I doubt any of us need an AT marker to help us particularly when it isn't that accurate
A poor colour or spec choice may knock 10% off a car and a good one may add 10% which isn't taken into account
