You dont buy from carwow, you buy from a dealership
Carwow charge the dealership £300 for being the middle man
They also charge the dealers a small fee everytime you make an enquiry on a car, essentially a fee to quote.
They used to be very competitive on price, I remember family members getting huge discounts on cars from a Fiat dealer in the midlands at discounts unavailable elsewhere. The dealer called them when the cars where in the UK and arranged a collection time and date, very easy and positive experience.
I think carwow used to offer customers a £20 amazon gift card when they confirmed they had purchased a car, it was there way of making sure they got the £300 from the dealership.
Despite all that, a few times in the past year I have asked for a quote on some new cars and found them not to be competitive - deals that where being offered I could get elsewhere.
Maybe now the supply is back and manufacturers are having to discount you may get a good deal?

Yes, bought two cars new from carwow and also sold a car through them.
Great prices, undercutting what you can get going direct to the dealer - even if the same dealer is on carwow they sometimes have better offers just for carwow.
Managed to get 20% off a Toyota pre-reg recently that only had less than 5 miles on it, and had been registered one month before. The other brand new unregistered car I’d bought through carwow was nearly 10% off and had 10 miles on it.
