New family car - choices!
Discussion
New family car needed.. ended up with a shortlist and can't decide
2 children, 2 and 5
Budget: 16k
Current shortlist:
~2018 Honda CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC EX ~60k miles (well equipped)
~2018 Mazda CX-5 2.2d Sport Nav ~70k miles
2014 ML250 CDI ~80k miles (best for size, proper size SUV)
2015 CLS 220 CDI ~90k miles (Wife has problem with 'Dad' image on this one, although probably the best 'car' here)
Any pointers/opnions to help narrow down further?

No, I'm just going to widen it out again. I'm hopelessly biased but I'll suggest an XC70. I'm in a similar situation to you re kids, I've had a 2014 XC70 for 4 years/65k miles, and it's been brilliant. Big, very comfy, robust inside and out, and not very expensive to run. The only rub may be that none of them are ULEZ compliant (which doesn't bother me one iota, YMMV).Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
