Used BMW Japanese Import?

I deleted my initial post as the car had been sold but the more I look around the more imported 1-Series I see. Really odd?

A base 1-series seems an odd car to import from Japan.

Also, Autotrader is usually pretty good at tagging imported cars.

I suspect it is more likely to have been a part-ex for something more interesting at that dealer, or come from somewhere closer (Ireland, NI, IoM, Channel Islands etc).
