Sorry, not very PH but i'm going to need to buy a car that would have seating that sits higher than a standard hatchback, but i dont need anything as high as an SUV...

Maybe easier explained in the cars i'm looking at - Ford C-Max and Golf SV.

Petrol as i do small miles.

Budget up to say £10K.

Is there anything else i should be looking at other than those? I dont need anything as big as a Zafira.

Thanks in advance.

Small van based MPV thingies, like the Ford Tourneo Courier or Citreon Berlingo.

There are a few boxy JDM imports too, if you are willing to go down that route.

Mini MPV type cars are still popular over in Japan it seems,

I have a friend who had a similar requirement and he recently bought a Nissan Note. He seems quite happy with it.

One of the bigger 'minis', or a Yeti?

Citroen C3 Picasso is a decent bet - they drive okay and have quite a small footprint, but are very roomy inside.

Mini Countryman, wife is on her second, she loves them.
Has an SUV look of it but not all that big, interior space stands up well to most mid size hatchbacks

Yes, but most are just FWD, they’re decent cars in the right trim.
