Quick question regarding leasing and service/MOT
Discussion
I'll make this quick.
I've got an Abarth 595 on lease. The lease ends 5th May, but it's MOT is due 31st March, and it's service is due mid April. I've had a look through the paperwork, but it simply states that I must maintain the car "in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines". If I arrange to send the car back early, say mid March (and pay the fees involved) will this allow me to avoid the MOT & service? Via Leasys, if that makes any difference.
Basically, will I get charged if returning the car 2 weeks before the MOT and 4 weeks before the service is due?

MOT the car (it's £45.00) & just get the car serviced.
Service is due mid/end of April, my replacement lease arrives early April. I don't want to service it one day to hand it back a few days later if I don't need to. It only costs me £78 for each month I terminate the lease earlyDimebars said:
What's the cost of service/MOT vs early handback charges?
Surely that answers your question for you?
Service probably £200, MOT £50. Handing back 6wks early is £115.Surely that answers your question for you?
The question was more "will this be allowed" rather than financials, as the wording on the lease agreement is pretty vague
